From Vanguard Wiki
[edit] What Style Do I Use to Write Entries?
Whenever possible, write using standard prose English. All entries should be written as original, editorial content. Sources should be attributed. Don't just copy and paste in things from official sources. Expand and comment on them. Under the entry for "Romeo and Juliet" in an Encyclopedia Brittanica, you wouldn't find the full text of the work, instead you'd find a synopsis along with commentary. In the same fashion, you shouldn't just cut and paste in "Morgan's Tale" or long quotes from developers without commentary.
[edit] What is the Scope of the Project?
Right now, the scope of the project is Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Eventually the wiki may be expanded to other titles.
[edit] So what should be in here?
Anything having anything to do with Vanguard. First off, any proper noun in the world of Telon deserves an entry. Second, any system or point of discussion about Vanguard. Third, anything that will impact the game. Lastly, anything that could be used as a point of comparison.
Examples of each:
[edit] What shouldn't be in here?
Anything that's totally unrelated to MMOGs.
[edit] Do I "sign" my entries?
No, entries should not be bylined. Your contributions are stored along with your name as long as you are logged in.
[edit] Who do I contact if I see an error?
Nobody! Dive right in and make the edit yourself!
[edit] What if I'm not sure on something?
Each page has its own discussion section available at the top. If you're not sure about something, have a pov dispute, etc, post it there.
[edit] I'm totally concerned people are gonna mess up this resource, how can I check people's work over?
There's a recent changes page you can access. Once there, you can get a history of each page including a "diff" that'll show most recent changes. And thanks for your help!
[edit] I have another question
Post it in this forum and we'll serve up a freshly baked answer.
