An NPC who buys and sells items from players.

Players in Vanguard can 'retain' NPC vendors in much the same way as they own pets. A player's vendor(s) can be stationed in a commercial zone in a player city and stocked with items for prices set by the player. Other players can then interact with this vendor as they wound a normal NPC merchant.

• Players' vendors will remain active in the game world even when the player has logged off.

• Items stocked by vendors are not centrally listed and searchable. It will be necessary for players to interact with individual vendors and view their current stock and prices.
