Items Whats with the table stuff?? IMHO thats a horrible idea, ive already been creating item links for the nm guys im adding in. I have not made those pages yet but heres my suggestion. Each item should have a catigory adventuring, crafting, harvesting, and diplomancy. assoated with it, if somehow an item falls into two spheres (not sure that will ever happen but if it does you can just give it both catigories) The otehr catigor would be the slot i.e. weapon, tool (harvesting tool or crafting tool as niether of these catigories do dmg) offhand (either making this include shield and parry blades or split it into two differect choices) shoulders, etc. then if your looking for a item, say HArd leather shoulders (just made it up dont know if you can buy or not) someone clicks on adventuring items catigorie then shoulders to see a list of items, if they want to to look at more detail they click on hard leather shoulders to see its sold from vendors around the globe and that the cost is 20 copper and the names of the vendors that sell it. Thanks for promt responce, what should i do then with the Monsters i update simply leave the items in plain text? make them a link? etc. Also will you have a system to show the rarity of a drop. on normal mobs its somewhat difficulty to show because a fairy level 4 only drops say the wing and the cracked sphere is dropped its far more rare than a level 15 fairy, who drops both. My suggestion is just to put the items a normal mobs drops disreguard rarity, but we need a system to show that after killing fallen fae princess 30 times i recieved only 1 helm and compared to 22 bows. This is the right place for discussion. Leave the items as links for the moment, or type the information directly onto the mob page. Rarity will be a thing you can record in the Item Database.Therian 18:12, 21 January 2007 (CST)
Well im a bit ancy waiting for the offical 3 day period so ill start putting in items and their stats onto a tempiory page. who ever updates the item data base can move the items from Temp Item Page to the offical page or table or what not. there should be a bit of info on the temp page about last updated items how to remove etc so if other people add i dont get confused
Where a dungeon and a zone shares the same name, we should probably have two different pages for them. Possibly the same should be said for towns, etc. We could leave zone as the primary name, and copy off other pages such as Dargun's Tomb (dungeon) or Mekalia (city). What does everyone think? Wiki Pictures have a size limit on display, I believe. Both the dwarves and Hillsbury Manor pictures are oversized. Therian
