The corpse-marker of dead PCs. Tombstones can be:

• looted by their owner using the /loot command, or by right-clicking it.
• summoned by their owner to an altar.
• dragged by another player character, so long as the owner has given them permission using the /consent command.
• located using the quest journal

Retrieving your tombstone by summoning it to an altar has an experience point penalty. Also, any items on your tombstone will suffer a 15% durability hit. If you run to the location of your tombstone and loot it that way, the experience point penalty is not nearly as large, and the durability hit is negated.
