The Ten Wardens of Ca'ial Brael are a council which governs both the city and the Wood Elven people's affairs. Seven of the ten are Wardens of each of the seven Paths.

[edit] Dolnir Wintersreach - Warden of the Flame
Dolnir Wintersreach is noted for his alarming red eyes, and his often uncomfortable intensity. As Warden of the Path of the Flame, which preserves balance through necessary, restorative destruction, his role on the Council of Wardens is to ensure that the personal needs and passions of the individual Wardens and Paths do not interfere with the overall balance. While his intensity is occasionally overwhelming, his wisdom is ever apparent.
[edit] Mellion Spiritwalker - Warden of the Moon
Mellion Spiritwalker is blind, which in a society valuing both physical and spiritual excellence above all else, would normally be a crippling stigma. Despite this his wisdom, knowledge, and gift for seeing glimpses of the future have secured his position as Warden of the Moon, and he offers necessary guidance to the Council of Wardens. It is notable that he has recently had a particular vision concerning the Warden of the Day, Elleron Lunarian:
"In my vision.. I saw our esteemed Warden of the Day fall. He was caught in the arms of a figure dressed in formless white cloak. His blood spilled on the fabric of the robe, and it was soon stained red. The figure committed his body to the pyre - but not before taking the medallion that signifies Elleron's rank and placing it around their own neck..."

[edit] Zephiria Wolveskin - Warden of the Wind
Zephiria Wolveskin has an uncanny ability to use words to persuade others. She puts that ability to use most admirably in attempting to convince the Council of Wardens to involve her people in the troubles of the world surrounding Ca'ial Brael, and has garnered the aid of Dolnir Wintersreach in this endeavor, likely by convincing him that the rest of the world is badly out of balance.

[edit] Mithnis Springsmoot - Warden of the Glade
Mithnis Springsmoot advices the Council of Wardens on military matters, and typically reminds them that the place of Wood Elves and the Gladesworn is in the Glade. The Gladesworn who walk the Path of the Glade are sworn to defend the forest and the people within it, and serve as the rangers and guards throughout the forest. Mithnis is a stern woman.

[edit] Ravela Gladewalker - Warden of the Night
Few people understand Ravela Gladewalker, and she is often seen as a harsh, abrasive woman, and uncomfortable to be around. Others would point out that as the Warden of the Night, the knowledge she must bear is particularly dark and heavy, and can not rest lightly on her. Whatever the case may be, her clan, the Gladewalkers, are said to have dressed in black for her when she was selected as the Warden of the Night, as though in mourning. She and Elleron Lunarian share a romantic bond which perhaps only the two of them understand.
