Vanguard: Saga of Heroes takes place on the world of Telon. Although most of Telon is still a mystery to us, players have a choice of three starting continents:

• Thestra - Temperate grasslands, forests and swamplands. European themed. Invaded by undead hordes.
• Qalia - Desert and mountainous climate, said to lie far to the south of Thestra. Middle-eastern themed. Suffers from Elemental infestations and corruption.
• Kojan - Tropical archipelago located in the east. Oriental themed. Invaded by the mysterious Oni.

Various other islands can be found in the seas of Telon, such as Lothenland.
