Statements fuel and are fuelled by Expression and are used to produce Influence, which effects the position of the Dialogue Point marker.

The seal in the upper right shows how much Influence the Statement can produce, and the color tells you what type of Expression the card belongs to
The four circles at the bottom indicate the kind of Expression the card will give you (number below the circle) and your opponent (number above the circle)
The four circles in the centre of the card indicate how much of each type of Expression it will cost to play the Statement
The numbers in the lower right are the Refresh Timer range - the number of rounds it will take to refresh
When a card has been played it will display how many rounds before it can be played again
