Jarand Drake is the leader of Misthaven Crossing, north Thestra. You can build faction with Misthaven Crossing (Faction) by completing quests against the Vulshars of Misthaven or by killing the Vulshar directly. In fact, most of the quests granted by the town citizens will improve the Misthaven Crossing (Faction) so it doesn't take long (or the deaths of that many Vulshars) to get to the maximum of 20,000 faction.

However, proving your worth to Jarand Drake is more challenging as he has his own individual faction. See the article on Jarand Drake (Faction) for a list of quests known to raise your standing with him personally.
