Factions )
Organizations within the world, some allies, some enemies, which the players interact with in terms of quests and faction standing . Your involvement in factions will affect many of the quests you are offered.
To see your current factions, type /showfaction, or look at the Factions subtab of the Diplomacy tab in your character panel.
[edit ] Crafting Faction Artisan faction is required to qualify for recipes and quests for particular areas. Crafters have both a continental faction and 'local' which is obtained by performing work orders and quests in various cities and outposts.
[edit ] Diplomacy Factions Prestige Faction is earned by doing diplomacy quests and civic diplomacy . It can also be gained by using Prestigious Baubles at one of the main centers.
Ahgram doesn't currently have civic diplomacy, however you can parley with the Capuchehaies and their associates to gain Ahgram prestige.
[edit ] Player Race and Allies Faction Most (but not all) small outposts are not KOS to races, but start with pretty low faction values.
A note on becoming non KOS - Its not overly hard, so do not despair if you are KOS in a particular location. It will require some work, but nothing that cannot be overcome.
