Playable Races

While elf on its own generally means High Elf, it can refer to any of the following playable races:

• High Elves who make their home on Thestra in Leth Nurae and are designed from a Moorcock/Tolkien-esque ideal.

• Dark Elves from the sands of Qalia. These are a dark-skinned, imperial race.

• Wood Elves, from Kojan. They are isolationists.

• Half-elves also from Kojan, part human, part elf. They have no general cultural identity and mostly have assimilated with the Kojani.

Note: Half-elves in Vanguard are the offspring of Wood Elves and humans (usually Kojanese). Other combinations are extremely rare and unplayable.
