When a player character dies, and is not resurrected, it will be necessary for the player to respawn at a bind point. All items which the player was carrying at the time of their death will remain on their corpse. As players can only loot their own corpses, if the player wishes to regain those items, it will be necessary to return to the corpse to loot the items.
The location of all existing corpses will be displayed in the player's Travel Journal.
Because corpses are often lost in extremely dangerous zones, Vanguard players may prefer to keep 'back-up' sets of armor at nearby outposts so that they have the necessary equipment to fight their way back to their corpses. Body bags will be available to help players manage multiple sets of gear.
