None
Conjuration Self
Range: 25 Cast: Instant
Refresh: 15:00 Level: 8
As a Dark Elf, chosen race of Haelifur, god of dragons,
you are able to call forth a spawn of Haelifur to aid
you in combat for a short time. As you increase in
power, so will the creature, gaining access to new,
and more powerful abilities.

Notes:

  • Yes, those misspellings of Haelufir's name are exactly as they are in-game.
  • All classes - you cannot summon your pet if riding a mount. The spell will be cast and the recast timer will be put to 15 min, but the pet itself wont appear.
  • Necromancers - This pet and your abomination currently cannot be active at the same time, so you must choose.
  • Psionicists - Summoning your pet while having a charmed creature will break the charm.
  • Like the abomination, the Child of Haelufir gets bigger at higher levels, and stays for a longer time.
  • The pet only gets one ability, a buff for the user. This buff lasts for almost 15 min, the recast time of the ability. Bards, Sorcerers and Psionicists have buffs to be able to shorten this waiting time.
  • You get the ability with level 8, but you cannot activate the buff until level 12. Unlike the description suggests, it never gets better again.
  • Melee Haste has recently be confirmed to never ever get fixed by the devs, in their statement to transform the majority of weapons to variants of the longsword. Therefore the 5% Melee Haste buff of Melee DPS Darkelves does very little.
  • Both the 10% Healing Bonus as well as the 10% Spell Damage Bonus do only apply on the Base value, i.e. on the power of the spell if the caster has exactly 100% Healing from Vit or 100% Spell Damage from Int, with no Healing or Spell Damage Focus or Spell Damage Rating. Meaning the actual bonus will stay the same no matter how good the rest of your gear gets. Especially in the case of Spell Damage, this may reduce the actual usefulness of the buff to 5% or less when raid buffed. With the recently introduced Healing Effectiveness, Healers get into the same situation.
  • The Healing Buff is actually bugged in many respects, pretty much since game release. It doesnt work on Healing over Time spells, not on group heals. It works on straight heals, but even then its known to vanish with no clear reason.
  • Having Sorcerer or Psionicist ward buffs up will deflect the Healing Buff. This might possibly also appear for the other buffs, but not for Sorcerers themselves.
