An arcane caster refers to spellcasting wizards that rely exclusively on magical arts. While this covers the offensive caster archetype, the Blood Mage also falls in this role due to close similarities.
All arcane casters are restricted to light armor and can use very few weapons, but can use many focus gear instead. They have a fair amount of DD spells, DoTs, some buffs, counterspells, and in the case of the Blood Mage & Druid, healing spells.
