There are two ways to add pages to the wiki.
[edit] Follow a link
When wiki contributers create articles, they will add many reference links to other parts of the wiki. For instance, the Main Page link will take you back to the front page of the wiki. You can add links to parts of the wiki which don't even exist yet, and then create a new article by clicking on the link. You will be taken to an editing area where you can create and save the new page.
If you wish to create an article on a totally fresh topic, it's best to add the link in the Sandbox, the special area of the wiki designed for newcomers to play and learn. And check out Editing Basics for some tips of how to get started.
[edit] Edit the URL
You can also create a new wiki page by directly editing the wiki page url in the address bar of your browser. If you change the last segment of the url to the name of a wiki page which doesn't already exist, an edit area for that page will be created. However, it is usually simpler to create a link and follow it.
And remember - always check to see whether a wiki article already exists on the subject you wish to discuss!
